1. Who processes your data?

AKAR Business Center SARL is the data controller for personal data collected through www.akarbusinesscenter.com and the exchanges arising from its use.

This policy provides information about these processing activities with reference to Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

2. What data do we collect?

Depending on how you use the website and the information you provide, we may collect:

• Your first name, surname, email address and telephone number.
• Your company name, position and professional contact details.
• Details of your enquiry: workspace requested, preferred dates, number of people and services required.
• Your messages and the correspondence needed to follow up on your request.
• Your CV and information provided as part of a job application.
• Technical and browsing data: IP address, online identifiers, browser or device characteristics, pages viewed and interactions with the website.

Enquiries, provisional booking requests and applications submitted through the forms are recorded in Odoo. Please do not include sensitive data or identity documents in free-text fields unless our team has specifically requested them for a justified purpose.

3. Why do we use this data?

We use the information necessary to:

• Answer your questions and arrange a visit.
• Prepare an offer or quotation.
• Review a provisional booking request and communicate its confirmation.
• Manage purchased services, invoicing and customer relationships.
• Process job applications.
• Operate and secure the website.
• Measure website traffic and the results of our advertising campaigns.
• Send marketing communications where legally permitted.
• Meet our legal obligations and handle complaints or legal proceedings.

Depending on its purpose, processing relies on your consent, steps necessary to respond to your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract or a legal obligation.

Submitting a contact form or provisional booking request does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive advertising or to be subject to advertising tracking.

4. Is the information mandatory?

Required fields are identified on the forms. They help us identify your request and respond to you. Without this information, we may be unable to process your request. Other information is optional.

5. Who may receive your data?

Data is intended for authorised members of AKAR Business Center and, where necessary, providers involved in operating the website and delivering the relevant services. In particular, we use:

• Odoo for website hosting and management of enquiries, provisional booking requests and applications.
• Google Analytics to measure traffic and analyse website use.
• Google Ads to measure advertising campaign results and conversions.
• The Meta/Facebook pixel to measure interactions associated with our advertisements and, depending on campaign settings and the required consent, build advertising audiences.

Data may also be disclosed to authorities or professional advisers where justified by a legal obligation or legal proceedings.

We do not sell your contact details or the contents of your enquiries.

6. Hosting and processing abroad

Using Odoo, Google and Meta may involve storing or processing data outside Morocco, depending on the infrastructure and services concerned. These activities are subject to the rules governing international transfers of personal data. This policy does not certify that the CNDP has authorised a transfer.

7. How long do we retain your data?

As of the date of this policy, enquiries, provisional booking requests, customer records and applications recorded in Odoo are not automatically deleted after a fixed period. They may therefore remain stored after correspondence or recruitment has ended.

You may ask us to review the need to retain your data and request its deletion under the conditions established by law. However, certain information must be retained to meet legal obligations, particularly accounting and tax requirements, or to handle a dispute. Deletion may then be deferred solely for those purposes.

Retention of records in Odoo is separate from retention of cookies and information processed by measurement and advertising tools, which depends on their nature and the relevant service settings.

8. Cookies and advertising tracking

The website uses Odoo technical functions, Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta pixel. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies to operate the website, measure its audience and evaluate advertising campaigns. Depending on the settings enabled, they may process information about your browsing, pages viewed, interactions and device characteristics.

Advertising processing requiring your consent cannot be authorised merely by reading this policy.

You can use the cookie management controls offered on the website where available, configure your browser to block or delete cookies and manage your advertising preferences with Google and Meta. Blocking certain technical cookies may affect website features.
